1. Make sure your recipient is turned off. Press the power button, and the screen should be blank.

3. Select Program to access the update options. Then select "USB" to start a USB firmware update.
4. Insert a USB drive containing the latest firmware update into your Yamaha receiver.
5. Press the Information button to confirm and start a USB update, The Yamaha receiver will now start downloading firmware from the USB Drive.
6. Wait for the update to complete. Once completed, your recipient will display "successfully updated". Turn off the power, then turn it back on
